SLED Charges Anderson County Man with Burglary and Criminal Sexual Conduct

The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) charged Scott Leland Helton, 35 with Burglary - First Degree and Criminal Sexual Conduct - First Degree on Tuesday, May 12, 2026. The Anderson County Sheriff’s Office requested the SLED investigation.

Details can be found in the attached warrants. 

Helton was booked into the Anderson County Detention Center.

The case will be prosecuted by the 10th Circuit Solicitor’s Office.
