CRIME INFORMATION CENTER
Responsible for the operation and maintenance of a central statewide crime information center. The Center is comprised of the Uniform Crime Reports Section, the Central Records Repository, and the CJIS Training Unit. The Center conducts and disseminates crime analysis information, and provides criminal identification and records information to SLED components, state and local agencies, and the FBI.
JUSTICE COMMUNICATIONS
Responsible for the law enforcement data communications network in S. C. (CJIS Network) and the state message switches for NCIC and NLETS. Provides internal agency information support for services through local and wide area networks. Supports all internet applications provided by SLED.
